Warranty Guarantee

K&M Eavestroughs stands by the quality of our workmanship with a 5 year warranty on labour and a 15 year warranty on the materials installed on your home. All warranty work must be carried out by K&M Eavestroughs. All warranties are only valid as long as the property remains in possession of the owner who paid for the installation.

5 Year Warranty – What’s Included

  • Natural wear and tear resulting in leaky corners
  • Re-sloping in case of improper installation

5 Year Warranty – What’s Excluded

  • Damage as a result of improper maintenance (irregular cleanings resulting in build up of debris and water overflow that forces separation of the seams of the trough)
  • Damage as a result of weather (i.e. wind, snow falling from the roof, falling tree branches, etc.)
  • Damage as a result of homeowner or other contractors (i.e. damage from roofers, leaning ladders against the eavestroughs etc.)

15 Year Warranty – What’s Included

  • Defects in material including warping from the sun

15 Year Warranty – What’s Excluded

  • Damage as a result of weather (i.e. wind, snow falling from the roof, falling tree branches, etc.)
  • Damage as a result of homeowner or other contractors (i.e. damage from roofers, leaning ladders against the eavestroughs etc.)

Alurex Gutter Guard Lifetime Warranty

The Lifetime Warranty includes 40 years of protection and the following services/repairs

  • Labour cost to clean gutters should they clog within 40 years of installation
  • 40 year manufacturing warranty to protect against warping and buckling

Alurex Lifetime Warranty Exclusions

  • Changes in surface colour resulting from chalking, fading, chipping, cracking, soiling or staining. Exposure to the elements may cause these changes over time; the degree to which weathering occurs will vary depending on air quality, the building’s location and other local conditions over which we have no control accidental damage
  • The gutter itself
  • Damage resulting from the acceleration of snow or ice due to acute pitched roofs or to the roof material
  • Fire or other cause of building destruction
  • Products that have been painted or whose surface has been altered in any way
  • Any other causes beyond our reasonable control
